| Plot |
| Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as the Terminator in this explosive adventure spectacle. His mission: to protect John Connor, the boy destined to lead the freedom fighters of the future. His opponent: the T-1000, the most lethal machine ever created, sent back through time to kill young John. His ally: Sarah Connor, John's mother, a woman warrior whose warnings go unheeded by a world careening toward a nuclear holocaust she knows is inevitable. "T2" is a tour de force of stunts and astounding special effects, built around a touching and emotional human story. |

Easter Eggs:
HIDDEN FEATURE 1:On disc/side 2, notice how the main menu is NOT a still picture (the counter is running). Every 30 seconds, the disc will randomly cycle through one of three different options:1.) The box in the lower left corner next to Data Hub will shine with the words "Join The Resistance"; or2.) The same box will shine with a circular symbol; or3.) The menu will morph into the T-1000's head commanding you to "Get out".If you click on the box when it says "Join The Resistance", you get a secret message from John Connor which takes you to a DVD-ROM combat training simulation game. The message has a reference to the Internet and a theory on how Mac-users might be the survivors of Judgment Day! The circular symbol takes you to an amusing little ad for Swelltone, whatever that is. (The Swelltone ad can also be found if you skip to track 60.)HIDDEN FEATURE 2:The "Join the Resistance" message is also on Disc 1 when you click on the side of the endoskeleton's head when you check out the mission profiles of the cast and crew.HIDDEN FEATURE 3:For an extra 156 minute run of the Special Edition of the film, but with the "Future Coda" scene replaced at the end (those who don't know about this scene and why it was cut have to review the DVD and movie) click on "Special Edition" from the Main Menu. On the right hand side of the screen, there should be some odd symbols. (These are actually roman numbers). Using your remote control, enter the numbers "82997" -- the date of Judgment Day. You may have to enter each number one at a time, rather than the whole series at once. Each number entered should change the symbols into the words: "The Future Is Not Set". After everything is entered, the eyes of the Terminator will light up and a new menu entry will provide access to a different version of the movie, including the expanded alternate ending. You should now be able to click "Play Extended Special Edition". If this does not work, access Title 3 with your player. This is where the above methods deliver you. (The Future Coda scene is also directly accessible, rather than going through the big "documentary" or the 82997 method.)HIDDEN FEATURE 4:On side/disc 2 go to the trailers page and move left to highlight the up/return arrow, then move down. A small box in the bottom left corner will be highlighted. This takes you to a load of japanese trailers. |
