| Plot |
| When HMS Torrin is dive-bombed by the Nazis, its captain (Coward) and several officers cling to a life raft, wounded and exhausted. While they dodge bullets and pray for rescue, they reflect on their families at home and the loyalty, kinship and love of country that drives them to fight for freedom against seemingly insurmountable odds. |
